Joe Biden Supports Student Protests On College Campuses

President Joe Biden revealed that he helps college students’ nationwide campus protests however denounces hate speech and the destruction of property.

What Did Joe Say?

Why Joe Believes The Protests Are Occuring

The 81-year-old said solely non-violent protests had been protected.

Moreover, Biden spotlighted the acts that contradicted peaceable protests.

“Destroying property will not be a peaceable protest. Vandalism, trespassing, breaking home windows, shutting down campuses, forcing the cancellation of lessons and commencement. None of this can be a peaceable protest,” he said.

He persistently reiterated the actions that had been towards the legislation, together with “threatening individuals” and  “intimidating individuals.”

Biden added, “Dissent is crucial to democracy, however dissent must not ever result in dysfunction.” 

Joe believes college students shouldn’t really feel uncomfortable as they commute to class, stating they’ve “the precise to stroll throughout a school campus safely with out being attacked.”
