BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Convention has introduced its 2024 SWAC Baseball Match seedings following the conclusion of standard season play. The SWAC is the one Division I HBCU convention to sponsor the game.
Florida A&M (East) and Texas Southern (West) claimed divisional titles after ending with the highest data of their respective divisions.
Florida A&M (22-8 SWAC) enters the event because the No. 1 seed from the Jap Division.
Bethune-Cookman claimed the Jap Division No. 2 seed (19-10 SWAC), whereas Alabama State claimed the No. 3 seed (18-12 SWAC) adopted by No. 4 seed Jackson State (16-12 SWAC).
Texas Southern (18-6 SWAC) enters the event because the No. 1 seed from the Western Division.
Grambling State claimed the Western Division No. 2 seed (18-8 SWAC), whereas Prairie View A&M claimed the No. 3 seed (18-9 SWAC) adopted by the No. 4 seed Southern (15-12 SWAC).
