BALTIMORE, M.D. – The Winston-Salem State College ladies’s basketball workforce upset Bowie State College 64-61 inside CFG Financial institution Enviornment Monday Night time within the opening sport of the CIAA Match.
The Rams moved to (9-20, 2–16 CIAA).
Amaya Tucker led the Rams with a season-high 25 factors and was named the Meals Lion MVP of the sport. Alexandria Warren scored 9 factors and Tolisha Walker chipped in with eight factors and 6 rebounds.

Within the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs went on a 5-0 run giving them a 55-50 lead. Alexandria Warren answered again with an enormous three-pointer, giving the Rams a rating of 55-53 with 5:39 left. This began a 9-0 run as Starasia Bell-Freeman put the Rams again in entrance with a lay-up, adopted by one other lay-up giving the Rams a 59-55 lead with 3:16 remaining.
