Coming off a transcendent season wherein they made it to the MEAC event championship recreation, the Delaware State Hornets males’s basketball staff’s fortunes are altering for the worst.
The Hornets have been decimated this offseason by the switch portal, with their prime two scorers, Martaz Robinson and Jevin Muniz, on the best way out.
They are going to now be joined by the staff’s third-leading scorer, Delaware State guard Deywilk Tavarez, who has introduced he’ll now enter the switch portal.

Tavarez is coming off a spectacular freshman season wherein he was named MEAC Rookie of the 12 months. He averaged 13.7 factors, 3.6 assists, and a pair of.0 steals, warranting an All-MEAC third-team choice.
He was essential in Delaware State’s run to the MEAC championship recreation, scoring 29 and 20 factors within the staff’s first two event video games, respectively.
Based on studies, Tavarez is fielding curiosity from quite a few mid-major packages nationally, together with North Carolina A&T.
