Getting into their first season underneath head coach Tony Carter, the Central State Marauders have introduced they’ve employed a pair of former NFL stars to their soccer teaching workers.
9-year NFL veteran Leon Washington joins the Marauders as an Offensive Coordinator, and 10-year NFL veteran Quintin Demps as Defensive Go Recreation Coordinator.
That is Washington’s first collegiate teaching job, having beforehand served as an assistant particular groups coach with the New York Jets.
In the meantime, Demps involves Central State after a three-year stint at Judson College, serving as head coach in his ultimate two seasons.
A standout at Florida State College, Washington performed most of his NFL profession with the New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks, establishing himself as an elite all-purpose again and kick returner.
He completed his profession with 12,898 all-purpose yards and scored 28 whole touchdowns, together with 16 speeding touchdowns.
The previous NFL working again was chosen to the All-Professional First staff in 2008 and led the NFL with 2,332 all-purpose yards.
A fourth-round draft pick of the College of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), Demps performed primarily 5 of his 10 NFL seasons with the Houston Texans.

He completed his profession with 312 whole tackles (222 solo tackles) and 18 interceptions, together with a career-high six interceptions within the 2016 season.
