Simply over one month after asserting it had parted methods with a championship-winning coach, HBCU Lincoln College has issued one other assertion.
The Pennsylvania-based HBCU parted methods with Jason Armstrong lower than 90 days after he led this system to its first-ever CIAA Match title. It issued one other assertion on Monday relating to the transfer.
“Within the weeks since Jason Armstrong’s departure as Lincoln College’s Males’s Basketball Coach, questions have arisen concerning the nature of his departure. The College retracts its earlier assertion that Coach Armstrong voluntarily resigned. His departure was a choice by the College to finish his employment. The College thanks Coach Armstrong for his dedication in main the workforce to its first CIAA basketball title and elevating educational requirements for his gamers. We want him one of the best in his future teaching profession.”

Jason Armstrong was named interim head coach at Lincoln for the 2022-23 season and later named head coach for the 2023-24 season. In 2022-23, throughout the interim head teaching season for Armstrong, the workforce amassed a 17-15 file and fell brief within the CIAA Match Championship to Winston-Salem State College.
