Frankie Beverly has introduced his retirement and revealed the schedule for his farewell tour, titled “I Wanna Thank You.”
The five-city tour begins in Atlanta on March 22, that includes El DeBarge and Chaka Khan as particular visitors. It’s not but confirmed whether or not they’ll be a part of Beverly and his crew in different cities. The tour will then go to Alabama, Chicago, and Houston earlier than concluding in Los Angeles on Might 12.
Plans for an afterparty following the Atlanta live performance are underway, with particulars to be introduced quickly. Following the conclusion of the tour, Beverly will journey to Philadelphia for a road renaming ceremony. This occasion holds particular significance as Philadelphia is the place he and his Maze band, initially often called Uncooked Soul, started their musical journey in 1970, establishing their enduring legacy.
