Janai’s trip to success wasn’t clean crusing. Reminiscing about his freshman yr, he remembers the sting of shedding early on. “I bear in mind my freshman yr shedding like the primary spherical,” Janai shares. “I knew I needed to push additional.”
However Janai’s journey isn’t nearly hoops. Rising up in Newark, life threw him curveballs. Dropping his grandma, his rock, shook his household to its core. “It was robust being away from my household,” Janai displays.
