Livingstone College Receives Fourth Consecutive Anonymous $1 Million Donation

Livingstone Faculty is a non-public traditionally black Christian school in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Traditionally Black, Livingstone Faculty in North Carolina, continues to profit from nameless donors. The varsity introduced Wednesday that they obtained a $1 million nameless donation, — the fourth consecutive nameless donation of $1 million.

President Anthony J. Davis introduced the donation final Friday, April 19 to members of the Salisbury-Rowan group and several other of the school’s school and workers. Livingstone says that the donor has been a constant and devoted supporter of the school’s mission and imaginative and prescient.

Proceeds from this donation can be used to assist a campus residence corridor refurbishment challenge. This donation follows the school’s Innovation Lounge Grant award in the course of the 2024 Retool Your College Program, which is sponsored by House Depot.

Retool Your College is a multitiered challenge designed to offer grants to HBCU campuses for use for campus enchancment initiatives that promote sustainability and long-term advantages to the campus and college students. That individual grant will enable Livingstone to boost current areas on the campus the place college students can collect to collaborate. 

This announcement additionally comes lower than three weeks earlier than Livingstone Faculty’s Could commencement, which can characteristic its first cohort of graduates by the school’s MBA program.

Livingstone — a non-public traditionally Black school — offers enterprise, liberal arts, STEAM, instructor training, and workforce growth applications for college kids from all ethnic backgrounds. The school promotes lifelong studying and the event of scholars‘ potential for management and repair to a worldwide group by a Christian-based setting appropriate for holistic studying.
