An 18-year-old LSU scholar who was visiting dwelling for the vacations was shot and killed, authorities say.
The Metropolitan Police Division in Washington D.C., says Ashlei Hinds, a local of Clinton, Maryland, was shot inside a lodge room round 1:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1.
She was pronounced useless on the scene, WAFB Information reported.
Jelani Cousin, 18, was arrested on Jan. 2 and charged with second-degree homicide in reference to Ashlei’s demise.
Ashlei’s household mentioned she was learning sports activities administration on the college and needed to pursue a profession as a sports activities agent.
Her household says she was out with associates for New Yr’s Eve when she was killed.
