Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has introduced a citywide curfew following a surge in chaos through the anti-ICE protests rocking the streets of L.A. The emergency curfew went into impact Tuesday at 8 p.m. and can stay in place till 6 a.m. Wednesday, impacting each native companies and protest exercise.
The announcement got here simply hours after demonstrations turned more and more disruptive, with experiences of looting and property harm circulating on social media and thru native information shops. Curfew Amid Unrest
In her assertion, Mayor Bass cited rising security considerations and “a necessity to guard each protesters and property house owners” as key causes for the curfew.
