Shaboozey is formally the No. 1 artist within the nation.
The singer’s nation single “A Bar Tune (Tipsy)” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Sizzling 100 chart this week. The music, which interpolates J-Kwon’s 2004 hit “Tipsy,” is “the primary music by Black male artist to concurrently prime the Sizzling 100 and Sizzling Nation Songs charts,” in keeping with Selection.
Shaboozey joins Beyoncé as a history-maker on the charts as “A Bar Tune (Tipsy)” succeeded Beyoncé’s “Texas Maintain ‘Em” as No. 1 on the Sizzling Nation chart.
