The award was offered to them by Bishop T.D. Jakes.

The win marks a strong milestone for the model that began at their kitchen desk when Gabby was simply seven years outdated. Bored with barrettes continually slipping out of her hair, Gabby teamed up along with her mother to create GaBBY Bows—the primary and solely patented, non-slip barrette in the marketplace.
