*A white male excessive schooler in Kansas was charged with aggravated battery after he bodily assaulted a fellow pupil and referred to as her the N-word.
The violent brawl occurred at Shawnee Mission East on Nov. 15 and was captured on mobile phone video. The footage reveals a Black feminine, Brey’anna Brown, confronting a White feminine classmate about her use of the n-word, which she denied utilizing — and that’s when the white boy popped off, The Each day Mail studies.
He tells the Black lady, “Shut the f**ok up,” and when Brown responds, “Who mentioned that?” the younger racist says, “Me, Ni**a. Me.” Then, the male aggressor costs down the corridor and pushes and punches Brown repeatedly. Each college students had been suspended as a result of Brown hit him again, sparking pupil protests and a walkout on Monday morning (Nov. 27).
The scholars walked out chanting, “What number of extra occasions,” “We wish change,” and “Have our backs,” the Kansas Metropolis Star reported.
“This has been an ongoing problem with racism at East. There are a number of conditions which have occurred time and again,” mentioned senior Charlize Littlejohn, Atlanta Black Star studies.

The coed added, “I believe we’re all simply actually uninterested in attempting to get change, and it simply not taking place. We’re simply exhausted. Making an attempt to go to class. It actually impacts us.”
The Each day Mail studies that Brown, a sophomore, “was left with a damaged nostril after the assault,” the outlet writes.
The attacker has been charged with felony aggravated battery for punching Brown. The video reveals Brown hit the white male again in self-defense, which prompted the varsity to droop her for every week.
“I really feel like exterior of myself for doing what I did… I’m upset that I bought suspended,” Brown advised KSHB, per the Each day Mail.
“The thought in my head was both, I defend myself, or I run away from it or I get beat up, and I don’t know what else to do, so I selected to face up for myselt.”
“I’m kinda scared to return as a result of I don’t know what to sit up for,” she added.
In the meantime, District spokeswoman Kristin Babcock mentioned, “We take incidents of racism and bodily violence very severely. We do have a code of conduct in place, and we observe our insurance policies and procedures.”
