Bonita J. Brown has been named the 14th Chancellor of Winston-Salem State College (WSSU).
She was elected by the College of North Carolina Board of Governors, following her nomination by College of North Carolina System President Peter Hans.
Brown will assume her function on July 1, 2024. She’s going to succeed Interim Chancellor Anthony Graham, who was appointed in July 2023, and who beforehand served because the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Tutorial Affairs at Winston-Salem State College. She is the primary lady named everlasting chancellor at WSSU.
